Therapy Animal Handler Workshop Dates
The full-day Therapy Animal Handler Workshop satisfies the Handler Course requirement to register for a Pet Partners Team Evaluation. For 2020, the price of the Workshop is $50 (payable the day of class) and
includes a hard copy of the Handler Manual.
Due to the pandemic, the previously scheduled workshops required cancellation. New dates TBA.
If interested in being alerted when workshops resume, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Team Evaluation Dates
After you register for a specific evaluation, one of the Pet Partners certified Evaluators will contact you approximately a week prior to the date to set an appointment time for your individual evaluation. Additional dates might be added--check back for any additions.
Due to the pandemic, the previously scheduled evaluations required cancellation. New dates TBA.
If interested in being alerted when evaluations resume, please send an email to email@example.com.
Therapy Animal Training
Pet Partners only provides training for the handler and does not provide animal training; however, there are a number of individual and group trainers in the Middle Tennessee area.
Additionally, Pet Partners collaborated with PetSmart to offer a 6-week Therapy Dog Training class
that is available nationwide. Contact your local PetSmart for class dates.
The Brentwood PetSmart in Cool Springs is offering a therapy dog preparation class starting on October 21;
ask for trainer Christian Lowery to sign up.
